Saw Operator/ Shipping

- Coordinate shipments with traffic manager. Call / arrange trucks needed for pickups (before noon each day).
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks for shipping & assist with subcontractors when necessary;
- Ensure all paper work is filled out properly on all BOL;
- Confirm product loaded on trucks against packing slips and BOL. Resolve any discrepancies if any before loading. Contact General Manager when necessary;
- Prepare paperwork and ensure accuracy and completeness prior to shipping;
- Match packing slips to received product, sign , date and send to Brantford (overnight mail);
- Review of all shop orders for completeness prior to faxing to QA - check for missing signoffs, out of range BHN, dimensional reports, & miss scan's via shop view routing;
- Fax all final inspected S/O orders to QA Brantford daily or as required;
- Ordering of crates;
- Clean up of Nonconforming parts & maintain shipping area and lay down area in good clean order;
- Adhere to and enforce all safety rules & guidelines as outlined by the Patriot Special Metals safety manual. Complete First aid reports, Accident investigation & reporting when required;
- Any other duties as assigned by management;

Working hours: First shift

--Excellent organizational skills and capability of managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
--Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
--Computer literate and familiar with contemporary software;
--Previous industrial experience;
--Familiarity with material handling and the safe handling of large objects;
--Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills;
